Endeavorer ~ 21 November 1920
On this day in 1920 surfmen from the U.S. Coast Guard Station Bogue Inlet find the vessel Endeavorer tied up to the sea bouy and unoccupied. A capsized lifeboat had been found earlier in the inlet. The Annual Report of the Coast Guard states that two lives were lost in the incident. The following article details the incident.
